INTRODUCTION TO AUSSIE ANTHEMS
Aussie Anthems is the official Oz Rock Tribute Show,
performing at venues throughout NSW.
Unlike many other tribute bands, that replicate the
songs of one specific band, Aussie Anthems plays
legendary songs from many iconic acts, which
dominated the Australian music landscape in previous
decades.
A typical Aussie Anthems – Oz Rock Tribute Show,
features music from the likes of; AC/DC, INXS, Cold
Chisel, Dragon, Australian Crawl, Icehouse, Rose Tattoo,
Hunters & Collectors, Crowded House, Powderfinger,
Skyhooks, The Angels, Midnight Oil, Mental As Anything,
Daddy Cool, Hoodoo Gurus, Diesel and the Sunny Boys to
name just some.
Furthermore, the band’s vast catalogue of songs is such
that we also perform some of the biggest international
hits ever recorded, which can be added to the set list as
an added bonus!
Aussie Anthems, a 6 piece band, was inaugurated in
2014, by sports broadcaster David Tapp, who is one of
the group’s vocalists and the rhythm guitarist.

David is joined by a group of professional musicians,
including the likes of Aussie Anthems’ drummer, former
Choir Boys member, Tony Le Rhodes.
The band themes its shows with superb stage props,
delivering a powerhouse set list of iconic songs over a
three hour period (3 x 50 minute sets). The length of the
show can of course be tailored to each venue’s specific
requirements. Four hour shows are not uncommon!
Aussie Anthems is unique in that it regularly brings
special guest musicians/artists into its shows to value
add, based on the venue’s event theming/requirements.
At sports specific venues, such as rugby league clubs,
NRL legend, Bill Harrigan, is often bought into the Aussie
Anthems fold as a guest vocalist!
Aussie Anthems is not just a great Oz rock music show,
for traditional venues, such as clubs and pubs; it’s also
perfect for corporate events. We also perform at
“ticketed shows” at venues such as; Collaroy Beach Club,
Avoca Theatre and Lizotte’s, Newcastle.
