The Galaxy Guardians
The Galaxy Guardians have finally returned home to planet Earth after their secret NASA blast off searching for intelligent life on other planets that launched in the 1970s after the Apollo moon missions had concluded.
The Guardians kept themselves busy refining the best music the 70s had to offer and now they are pleased to demonstrate the fruits of their labours playing a powerful plethora of eclectic pop music of the decade when music was at its finest. They left as a parting gift a legacy of songs that were given to David Bowie, The Electric Light Orchestra, Paul McCartney, Steely Dan, Patti Smith, Fleetwood Mac and many others who had explosive hits.
Captain John Kater co pilots from the front with Chief Instructor Alanna O’Toole ably assisted by the cowboy guitar twins Doctor Brendan Powers and Sir Douglas Weaver, keyboard controller Darren Richards and the engine room of Major Tom Ruki on bass and General Neil Rankin rhythmatist on tubs.
Come along and dance and sing to songs that were made popular in the mix tape of the Guardians of the Galaxy superhero retelling of the GGs such as Fox on the Run, Southern Nights and Fooled Around and Fell in Love, epics Carry on Wayward Son (the long running tv series Supernatural theme) and Barracuda amongst many other delightfully dynamic discs from the sensational seventies.
Galaxy Guardians are exclusively represented by Special Agent Smith of Southbeat Space Sprockets.
