You would be wrong to pigeonhole a band like THE GAS. A repertoire that includes The Mixtures' "Pushbike Song" conceals a live performance that comes at the audience like to Australian pursuit team.

THE GAS rides at velocity through a repertoire list that shows an innate understanding of how audiences in Clubs and Pubs yearn to have their good times dished up. There is no pretence; the thrills are intentionally masked by three highly experienced musician/performers that deliver a riveting repertoire of classic hits with finesse.

They see no need to belittle their audience with overworked cliches and they see nothing wrong in following "The Pushbike Song" with "Rock DJ" followed be Leo Sayer's "Feel Like Dancing" and then Living Colours "Love Rears Up it's Ugly Head".

The Bands strengths are their individual talent and personalities. Strong lead vocals, a powerhouse sound driven by a grinding acoustic guitar, and (stand up) drums added to the frontline of three backing vocalists create a unique performance line-up.
