Shooting from the Hip are Mark Calder (Vocals and Bass) and Ian McKenzie (Vocals and Guitar), both with many years of experience playing to Sydney audiences.

Together they cover a broad range of musical styles and feels backed by sequenced drums and keyboards to produce a full and balanced sound.

Mark Calder spent many years touring with original funk/rock band "The Wendels" and various cover bands and also works Sydney venues as a solo artist. Ian McKenzie spent many years playing the Sydney duo circuit with successful duo "Toohoots" and has been involved in numerous other musical projects.

With many years' experience Shooting from the Hip are able to cater to all ages and situations with their varied repertoire, feel for the crowd and musicianship.
