Daniel Conway is a phenomenal 20-year old singer/songwriter who has been playing guitar and singing since the age of nine. Growing up in a household that was filled with music, from the soulful strains of Rod Stewart, to the rocking beats of Bon Jovi, to the pure pop rhythms of Neil Diamond, Daniel's life was infused with a love of all forms of music.

Picking up the guitar and singing came as naturally to Daniel as walking and talking does to other children, and by the age of 11 he was regularly jamming with local musicians in his home town of Caboolture. It was after winning the Queensland Champion of Champions competition in 2001, however, that things really started moving along in leaps and bounds.

On the judging table at the finals was Joan Douglas, who was managing a local band in her home town of Tamworth. After witnessing Daniel's talent she asked him to move to Tamworth to join the band. He promptly did so and became the guitarist in Chasing Bailey, now a Sydney-based band signed to EMI about to begin recording their second album.

Prior to securing their recording contract, Chasing Bailey were lauded in Tamworth as THE next band to watch, due in large part to Daniel's amazing guitar skills, singing, and songwriting ability. They were hand-picked to be mentored by the Youth Development Program, a program that identifies young talent and nurtures it and exposes it to industry contacts. It was through this association that Chasing Bailey both secured a record deal and got to perform at World Youth Day in front of the Pope, and over 80,000 devoted Catholics.

Daniel and the band have recently moved to Sydney to begin production on their next album, and Daniel is now looking to secure a series of regular gigs around town playing songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s, through to today's biggest hits. Songs that he knows people in pubs and clubs love to hear, through years of playing 3-hour+ shows in the pubs and clubs of regional NSW.

Daniel Conway is truly a star of tomorrow, and he's now looking to entertain the pub crowds of Sydney. Those that are lucky enough to book him into their venues will be able to tell their acquaintances in years to come that Daniel Conway once played at their venue.

He is seriously that good.
